Our 225L ex-Oloroso reconditioned barrels are made from 5–year–old ex-red wine casks that had been re-charred and seasoned with Oloroso wine for at least one year. The original red wine influence was fully removed, leaving behind the rich, nutty and oxidative character of Oloroso. These casks add depth and complexity to your whisky or rum.
