manufacturing process

On a handcrafted way from the origin to a high quality product.

Raw material

We use national oak from Galicia, Asturias and Cantabria, European oak and American oak

Drying

We receive the oak when it is still green and is open air dried thanks to the location of our cooperage, placed in Andalusia.

Toasting

The level of toasting of our casks can be choosen according to the needs of each of our customers.

Bending

We do not use any kind of fossil or chemical fuel, only the excess pieces of oak of the manufacturing process of our casks.

Seasoning

We work with many prestigious cellars for the seasoning programme of our casks. Oloroso, Fino, Manzanilla, Amontillado, Pedro Ximenez, Moscatel y Brandy.

Quality

All the process is supervised by our master coopers, submitting the casks to air and water tightness proofs to test for any leaks.

Traceability

The casks can be filled with wine as requested, getting the final traceability such as the origin of the oak, year of the manufacture and certificate of the cellar.
